Fun Direction ~ Music and Singing Classes

The new music classes for the 'Little Stars'  are going to be interactive, exciting and most importantly GREAT FUN. The children will have the opportunity to use a wide range of musical instruments and their voices to explore sounds and be creative in a fun, friendly, relaxed yet stimulating environment. The activities will enhance the children's imaginative, creative and musical skills whilst allowing them to learn and socialise with other children, which will also build their confidence through interactive learning. All classes will develop the concepts of rhythm and pitch and a typical session will include:

• To play, compose and experiment with the sounds of percussion
• Rhythmic and musical games
• Listening to and responding to music in a variety of ways
• HAVING FUN and interacting with others.
• Learn fun activities that they can do at home with their parents/guardians

Of course the most perfect of instruments is built right into our own bodies - our voices! 

Singing is one of the first experiences children have as creative and self-expressive beings. As you know from listening to a child, they will sing before they can talk! Singing makes endorphins flow resulting in a happier child. It helps them to breathe correctly enhancing brain function and general well being. It teaches discipline and self control.

Children who love to sing as youngsters will have a hobby they can enjoy for the rest of their lives.
